Hey @hartjosh15,
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!
Can you make it so when you create a node and want to put it between two other nodes you dont have to relink it twice instead just drag the new node between the preexisting ones and have it snap in place sorta like nuke?
There is something similar we are already working on actually, and while it doesn't yet work with literal drag-and-drop, in the next update you'll be able to (1) click on a connection, (2) insert any Node that can support that connection (so for an example, if you are connecting an Audio File Node to an Audio Destination Node, you can insert a Gain Node in between them, because it has an audio input and an audio output, but you can't e.g. insert a sampler in there).
Not sure if that cuts it, but in the meantime we are also thinking about how we could include your exact suggestion in the next update, in one way or another.
There is also a slightly related feature coming soon, which allows you to swap 2 Nodes, as long as they are not yet connected, or if they support the already existing set of connections.
In general, making it easier to perform common tasks is one of the focus points of the next update.
